Art Direction for David Shauls’ album “Seeing You”

An artistic collaboration with singer-songwriter David Shaul.
I shot and edited four videos for this project, in each video I interpreted one song from his new album into these “still life” slowly moving images.
I noticed that most songs that get uploaded to youtube usually just feature static cover art of the album they came from, so here I tried to create something a bit different and more visually stimulating. These are not exactly music videos nor are they static “album cover” uploads - they are slowly moving video interpretations of each song.

Single & Album Covers
The photo for “Just Say So” (רק תגידי), comes directly from the accompanying video, with minimal typography that puts focus on the artwork.
The Cover for the album was shot by David and features his partner Sarah, who inspired a large part of the album.
David wanted a clean and light album cover, that features this “raw” glimpse into his private world.
